  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

  1. Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the jumbo pasta shells and cook until al dente according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Filling: In a large bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, 1 1/2 cups of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, dried basil, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated.
  4. Stuff the Shells: Carefully spoon the ricotta mixture into each cooked pasta shell, filling them generously.
  5. Assemble the Dish: Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce evenly on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Arrange the stuffed shells in the dish, then top with the remaining marinara sauce.
  6. Add Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese over the top of the shells.
