by admin

Ingredients (Serves 4):

  • 2 lbs beef sirloin or stew meat, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 5 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • ยฝ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp dried thyme (or fresh, chopped)

  • Optional: ยฝ cup beef broth or water for more sauce

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿณ Instructions:

1. Sear the beef (optional but recommended):

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown beef bites in batches until nicely seared on all sides (about 2โ€“3 minutes per batch). This step adds flavor but can be skipped to save time.

2. Add ingredients to slow cooker:

Transfer seared beef to the slow cooker. Add butter, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, pepper, thyme, and beef broth (if using).

3. Cook low and slow:

Cover and cook on LOW for 6โ€“7 hours or on HIGH for 3โ€“4 hours, until beef is tender and flavorful.

4. Finish and serve:

Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve hot as is or over cauliflower rice, mashed potatoes, or steamed veggies for a protein-rich meal.

๐Ÿ” Variations:

  • Add mushrooms and onions for extra veggies and flavor.

  • Stir in a splash of lemon juice or balsamic vinegar at the end for brightness.

  • Make it spicy by adding crushed red pepper flakes or hot sauce.
