Ingredients:
-
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough or crescent roll dough
-
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
-
20–25 slices pepperoni
-
¼ cup pizza sauce (plus extra for dipping)
-
1 tablespoon melted butter
-
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or dried oregano
🧑🍳 Instructions:
-
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. -
Prepare Dough:
Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle (about 10×12 inches). -
Add Fillings:
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
Layer pepperoni slices evenly on top of the cheese. -
Roll Up:
Starting from one of the longer sides, carefully roll the dough into a tight log. -
Slice:
Using a sharp knife, slice the roll into 1-inch thick pieces. Place the pieces cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart. -
Brush with Butter & Season:
Brush the tops of the roll-ups with melted butter and sprinkle with Italian seasoning. -
Bake:
Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is bubbly. -
Serve:
Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
Tips:
-
Add sliced olives, bell peppers, or mushrooms for extra veggies.
-
Swap mozzarella for a mix of mozzarella and cheddar for sharper flavor.
-
For a crispier crust, bake on a preheated pizza stone or baking steel.
