Garlic Butter Steak Bites

by admin

Ingredients

  • 1½ lbs sirloin steak (or ribeye, NY strip), cut into 1-inch cubes

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

  • Optional: red pepper flakes, for a little heat

👨‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prep the Steak:

  • Pat steak cubes dry with paper towels (helps them sear).

  • Season generously with salt and pepper.

2. Sear the Steak:

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet (cast iron preferred) over high heat.

  • Add steak cubes in a single layer (don’t overcrowd — cook in batches if needed).

  • Sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking.

  • Transfer steak to a plate and keep warm.

3. Make Garlic Butter:

  • Reduce heat to medium.

  • In the same skillet, add butter and let it melt.

  • Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant (don’t let it brown).

4. Toss and Serve:

  • Return steak bites to the skillet and toss in the garlic butter to coat.

  • Cook 1 more minute just to heat through.

  • Garnish with chopped parsley and red pepper flakes if using.
