1 box lemon cake mix (about 15.25 oz)

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained

½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. -
Layer Ingredients:
Spread the softened cream cheese evenly on the bottom of the baking dish. -
Add Pineapple:
Pour the crushed pineapple (with juice) over the cream cheese layer. -
Add Cake Mix:
Sprinkle the dry lemon cake mix evenly over the pineapple layer. Do not mix. -
Pour Butter:
Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top. -
Bake:
Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. -
Cool & Serve:
Let cool slightly before serving. Optionally, top with whipped cream or a dusting of powdered sugar.
